The mission of the Marmara University Research Center for International Relations (MURCIR) is to conduct scientific research in the field of international relations. MURCIR encourages young and experienced researchers to conduct and improve research project about the prior subjects for MURCIR,

• by providing an appropriate platform and integrating academic personel of universities who attend to activity of the centre
• by determining research agenda in its own field,
• by organizing national and international conferences that are appropriate to this agenda,
• by creating communication and discussion platform via this conferences,
• by publishing consequences of the conferences,
• by extending these subjects; providing research sources for master degree and PhD students from its documentation centre,
• by receiving national and international post-doctorate researchers.

 

The main vision of the centre is that execute each activity in accordance with the norm of universal democracy and human rights

• by contributing research in the intersecting field of political science and international relations between social sciences in Turkiye and abroad;
• by academically contributing to the relations between Türkiye and its neighbouring countries,
• by following improvements in the global scope;
• by preparing the projects in this field.
