Prof. Zuhal MERT UZUNER

Zuhal Mert Uzuner is a professor at the Department of Political Science and International Relations at Marmara University. She teaches Introduction to International Relations and Seminar on Southeast Europe, International Organizations, EU-Turkey Relations, and Greek-Turkish Relations lessons. Uzuner studies foreign policy analysis, Greek foreign policy, Turkish foreign policy, Balkan and Mediterranean politics and Greek-Turkish relations. She has B.A., M.A. and PhD degrees from Marmara University International Relations and an M.A. from Southeast European Studies at Democritus University of Thrace, Law School, Greece. She knows English and Greek languages and has written several articles, books, and papers in Turkish and English. She is the author of Anapofeuktoi Sintrofoi o Ellino Italikos Polemos ston Tourkiko Tipo Oktovrios Dekemvrios 1940 (published by Epikentro in 2016) and editor of Role of Image in Greek Turkish Studies (published in 2018 by Peter Lang).

Dr. Zeynep BOSTAN

Dr. Zeynep Bostan is a faculty member at Marmara University, Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of International Relations. She completed her doctorate at Istanbul University, Faculty of Political Sciences. She works on the history of Turkish diplomacy, foreign affairs organizations, and Balkan and African history. In 2022, she was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of London SOAS and the UK National Archives (TNA). Musavver Mısır Hatıratı, which she translated from Ottoman Turkish (with A. Yıldırım, Çamlıca Publishing), was published in 2017. Her book Modern Foundations of Ottoman Foreign Affairs: Diplomacy in the Era of Abdulhamid II (2021-Kitap Publishing House), was published in 2021.
